Blogging from Burger King

Today I did a google search for "free wireless fullerton california." I was hoping to find one or two coffee shops that offered free wireless to their customers. I want to support those businesses that do so because I think it's absurd that companies like T-Mobile charge up to $40 a month to use their hotspots when there are free ones available.

I was not prepared for the number available. The Wi-Fi-FreeSpot™ Directory lists 12 locations in Fullerton plus at least another 12 in nearby communities.

It gets better. In January, the City of Fullerton launched a downtown network to improve business. It covers about 24 blocks downtown. (I'm not sure who is paying for it but I intend to use it anyway.)

Right now I'm sitting in the Burger King at the corner of Chapman and State College Boulevard.

I can't write much longer because I didn't think to fully charge my computer before leaving home...
